About

Jack Reuler

As a neutral and elder, I help clients find fair consensus and just results.

  • I am not an attorney but have been a participant in Minnesota’s legal system for 30 years, as a party in a custody case, as a party in a pet discrepancy case, and as a provider of Continuing Legal Education in Ethics and the Elimination of Bias for lawyers. The stress, anxiety, time, and expense that the adversarial family court system brought to me as a plaintiff led me to become a mediator to facilitate self-determination and avoid putting families’ fates into the hands of costly strangers.

Despite being called the justice system, there has been a disparity of treatment for people and peoples who have been marginalized by the “isms” that plague America. If that is you, I hope you can be the beneficiary of my mediation service. I offer no legal advice. I pass no judgment. I am filled with empathy. I lead with a spirit of generosity. I believe that relationships are built at the speed of trust.

  • As an artist and administrator, I led a nonprofit organization for more than four decades, giving me firsthand experience with management and labor unions, boards and management, full-time employees and gig workers. I have overseen financial and HR crises, governed numerous nonprofits as a board member, and am a member of a union. I also teach and advise on the post-secondary academic level and with social service organizations.
